Dubai has one of the busiest modeling markets in the Middle East, and one of the most confusing to break into. Every list online repeats the same five names with no context. Here's an honest one, built from the agencies actually working in this city right now.
I shoot the people these agencies sign, on both sides: models building submission portfolios before they apply, and agency talent already on the books who need fresh work. That's given me a decent view of who's active, who specializes in what, and what each agency actually wants to see before they'll consider you.
This list is for two audiences. If you're a model, it's a shortlist of who to apply to and what they're looking for. If you're a brand, casting director, or another photographer, it's a map of who to call for talent. Either way, every agency below is linked directly so you can go straight to their site.
Whether you search for a modeling agency in Dubai, a model agency in the UAE or a talent agency, the same few names come up. This guide separates them by what they actually do, so you can apply to the ones that fit you.
There is no single best modeling agency in Dubai, because the right one depends on your stage and the work you want. As a starting point: MMG and Bareface for polished, brand-ready work, Diva Dubai and FameWorx for volume and quick casting, Michelle Hay Management if you are already in the city, and TALC or KateLi Talent for a smaller, more personal setup.
The agencies
1. MMG Model Management
One of the most established names in the Gulf, MMG has built its reputation over more than 15 years representing local and international models across editorial, commercial, and runway work. With offices in both Dubai and London, they're a solid option if you want an agency with reach beyond the UAE. Best suited to models who already have a working portfolio and want representation with international brand relationships.
2. Bareface
Bareface is one of the oldest modeling and talent agencies in the Middle East, and it shows in how full-service their operation is: model representation, production support, and location management all under one roof. They work across fashion, commercial, and event talent. A strong choice if you want an agency that can also plug you into production-side work, not just casting calls.
3. Diva Model Management
Founded by Nicole Rodrigues, Diva Dubai runs one of the largest registered model databases in the region and pairs model representation with events management and production. They handle male, female, and child models, and are a common first stop for new models registering in the city given how actively they recruit. Good for models who want high submission volume and frequent casting opportunities.
4. FameWorx
FameWorx represents one of the broadest talent pools in the city: models, actors, event staff, and TV presenters, across a wide range of experience levels. Their scale makes them a practical option for brands casting quickly, and for newer models who want a foot in the door across multiple categories rather than one narrow niche.
5. Michelle Hay Management
Michelle Hay Management represents both male and female models in Dubai with a focus on connecting international faces to local casting opportunities. Their "models in town" system, listing which faces are currently available in the city, is a genuinely useful tool for brands and photographers looking to book quickly without waiting on a full agency submission cycle.
6. TALC Model Management
TALC is a homegrown Dubai agency running on a smaller, boutique scale than the names above. That usually means more direct communication and a closer relationship between the agency and the models on its books, which is worth factoring in if you'd rather not be one name among thousands in a database.
7. KateLi Talent
KateLi Talent is one of the newer names building a presence in the Dubai scene, growing largely through Instagram rather than a traditional agency site. If you're the kind of model who prefers working with a smaller, hands-on team over a large database agency, they're worth reaching out to directly: connect with KateLi Talent on Instagram.
Bigger isn't automatically better. Large agencies mean more casting volume but less individual attention. Boutique agencies mean fewer opportunities in raw number, but often faster replies and more say in which jobs you're put up for. Which one fits you depends on what stage you're at.
Modeling agency, talent agency or casting agency?
These terms get mixed up, and the difference affects where you apply.
- Modeling or model agency: represents models for fashion, commercial and runway work and brings you bookings, normally for a commission.
- Talent agency: a broader roster that can include models, actors, presenters and event staff. FameWorx, described above, works this way.
- Casting agency: finds people for a specific job or production. It may not represent you long term, so ask whether you would be signed or only considered for one booking.
Several Dubai agencies do more than one of these, so read each agency's own description rather than relying on the label.
How to choose a modeling agency in Dubai
- Match the type of work. Fashion and editorial, commercial and lifestyle, and events and promotion suit different agencies.
- Look at who is on the roster. Are those models similar to you in look and experience?
- Ask how you are paid. Commission on bookings is normal. Upfront registration or portfolio fees are a red flag.
- Get the terms in writing. Exclusivity, commission, image usage and payment dates.
- Check your legal status first. Make sure you are allowed to work in the UAE before you accept a booking.

What to prepare before you apply
There's no single format every agency uses, and the differences matter more than most guides let on. I checked the published application requirements for the agencies above directly, and they don't agree with each other:
- MMG Model Management: 4 photos, unedited, taken in daylight with no makeup, no more than 3 months old. Phone photos are explicitly fine. See MMG's application page.
- Bareface: headshot against a white wall, plus full-body and half-body photos. See Bareface's application page.
- Michelle Hay Management: at least 3 photos, full length, waist-up, and in profile, taken in natural light against a white background with no makeup. See Michelle Hay's application page.
- Diva, FameWorx, TALC and KateLi: none of these publish specific photo requirements on their public pages. Diva and FameWorx ask you to create an account before showing their form; TALC and KateLi work through direct contact instead.
What's consistent across all of them: accurate stats (height, measurements, shoe size), a short intro, and a genuine submission rather than a heavily edited one. Beyond that, don't assume, and don't shoot anything until you've checked the specific agency's own instructions. Several of these agencies explicitly want to see you without styling, which cuts against the instinct to submit your most polished photo.
If you want to go further before applying, especially to the larger agencies above, a proper portfolio session makes a real difference for the shots agencies keep on file once you're signed, even if it's not what gets you through the door. An agency can't sign what they can't see clearly. Most rejections I hear about aren't about looks: they're about submission photos that were too dark, too filtered, or too far from what the model actually looks like in person.
If you're a brand or casting director
This list works the other direction too. There's no independent ranking of these agencies by speed or booking volume, so treat the following as my own working experience rather than a verified benchmark: FameWorx and Diva Dubai have the largest rosters and tend to move fastest on volume casting, MMG and Bareface are who I'd call first for polished, brand-ready faces, Michelle Hay Management is useful if you need someone already in the city, and TALC or KateLi Talent are worth a direct message if you want a smaller, hand-picked shortlist instead of a database search.
Whichever agency you go through, the photographer on the day matters just as much as the model. If you are a brand, agency or photographer looking to hire models in Dubai, there are three routes. Go through an agency from this list when you want a managed process and a large pool. Contact a model directly when you already know who you want, and agree the usage and payment in writing.
