Everyone searching for a modeling agency in Dubai finds the same five names. Search for an acting or casting agency instead, and the results thin out fast. Here is an honest list, built from the agencies actually casting actors and on-camera talent in this city right now.
I shoot headshots and comp cards for people on both sides of these agencies: actors preparing a submission before they apply, and talent already signed who need a current headshot on file. That gives me a reasonably clear view of who is active, what each agency actually casts for, and what they expect a submission to look like.
This list works for two audiences. If you are an actor or on-camera talent, it is a shortlist of who to submit to and how. If you are a producer, brand, or casting director, it is a map of who to call when you need talent fast. Every agency below is linked directly so you can go straight to their site.
The agencies
1. MMG Talent
MMG Talent is the casting and talent arm of one of the Gulf's most established names in modeling and representation. They cover a genuinely wide spread of categories: actors, presenters, voice-over artists, hostesses, and influencers, working across commercials, radio, TV, stage, theatre, and film. That breadth makes them a strong first call for a production casting several roles at once, and a solid option for actors who want one agency covering more than a single lane of work.
2. Diva Dubai
Diva Dubai handles modeling too, but their casting side deserves its own mention here. Founded in 2003, they run one of the largest talent databases in the region, with over 44,000 registered profiles, and cast for film, print production, events, and brand activations alongside modeling work. They post live casting calls with role details directly on their site, which makes them one of the more transparent agencies to track if you want to see what is actually being cast right now rather than submitting blind.
3. Allure Agency
Allure has been casting across the wider MENA region since 2009, with particular depth in Arab and Middle Eastern talent, Arabic-speaking actors, and Emirati faces for commercials and campaigns that need region-specific casting. If a brief calls for talent that reads as authentically local rather than international, Allure is usually the agency I would point a producer toward first.
4. FameWorx
FameWorx represents one of the broadest talent pools in the city: actors alongside models, event staff, and TV presenters, across a wide range of experience levels. That scale makes them practical for brands casting quickly across several categories at once, and useful for newer actors who want a foot in the door without being boxed into one narrow type.
5. Gulf Got Talents
The newest name on this list, and structured differently from the rest. Gulf Got Talents runs a direct-hire marketplace rather than a traditional agency: browse verified profiles among 10,000+ registered talent across the UAE and GCC, and book directly without going through a mediator. It suits productions that need to move fast, and actors who would rather manage their own bookings than wait on an agency to pitch them.
Not every name above works the same way. MMG, Diva, Allure, and FameWorx are agencies in the traditional sense: they curate a roster and pitch talent for roles. Gulf Got Talents is closer to a marketplace, where your profile is visible directly to whoever is browsing and you handle your own bookings. Neither model is better. They suit different stages of a career and different amounts of time you want to spend managing your own submissions.
What to prepare before you submit
Casting and talent agencies are not looking for the same things a modeling agency wants. Measurements matter far less than how you read on camera, so the submission itself looks a little different.
- One current headshot: natural expression, direct to camera, lit clean enough that skin and features read clearly.
- A short self-tape or reel: 60 to 90 seconds of you speaking naturally to camera, if you have one, tells a casting director more than a resume alone.
- An acting resume or bio: past roles, training, and languages spoken, which is a genuine advantage in Dubai's multilingual production scene.
- Accurate basics: age range, height, and any special skills such as driving, accents, or an instrument.
- A short intro: professional, a few sentences, nothing oversold.
If you do not have a current headshot yet, that is usually the first gap worth closing before applying anywhere on this list. I have written a full breakdown of what a professional headshot session in Dubai involves and what it costs here: Professional Headshots in Dubai: Complete Guide.
Most actors who get passed over at the submission stage are not rejected for talent. They are rejected because the tape was dark, the audio was unclear, or the headshot no longer looked like the person who showed up.
If you are a producer or casting director
This list works the other direction too. If you are casting for a commercial, campaign, or production and need to move fast, these are the first calls to make, roughly in this order: MMG Talent or FameWorx for volume across several categories at once, Diva Dubai if you want visibility into live casting calls and a large existing database, Allure Agency for talent that needs to read as regionally authentic, and Gulf Got Talents if you would rather browse and book directly without a mediator.
Whichever agency you go through, the actor still needs a current headshot on file, and that is often the piece nobody budgets time for until casting is already underway. I shoot headshots and self-tape-ready portraits for talent across Dubai's agencies: if you need a photographer who already understands how these agencies brief a shoot, that is exactly where I fit in.
